Capability

Everything the part needs, in this workshop.

Waterjet, CNC milling, welded fabrication, and FDM printing in the Osborne Park workshop. Cut, machined, and assembled in the same building.

Waterjet cutting a nested plate, with the jet splash on the sheet Tilt-A-Jet · 60,000 psi

01 / CUTTING

Abrasive waterjet

Wear plate, rubber, stone, glass, titanium, and thick metal. Tilt-A-Jet helps control taper on precision and heavy section work.

  • Programmed travel 4064 × 2032 mm (length × width). Oversize plate and staged cuts are quoted when the sheet will not fit in one pass.
  • Metals, engineering plastics, gasket materials, polyurethane, rubber, stone, and glass.
  • Custom jigs and fixtures in-house for awkward nests, shafts, bars, and repeat work.
  • Very thick material and unusual geometry: send the file and we will say if it fits the bed.

02 / MACHINING

CNC machining

Turning, milling, and wire EDM for the parts we cut and fabricate. Send the drawing and we confirm which machine it fits.

Turning

  • Turn-mill, Ø650 × 3000 mm between centres, automatic steady rest and live tooling.
  • 5-axis vertical turn-mill, Ø2000 mm. X, Y, Z travel 1600 × 1600 × 1400 mm.
  • 12-station turret.

Milling

  • 5-axis, travel 880 × 880 × 800 mm. Complex geometry that would otherwise need several setups can often be done in one hit.
  • 4-axis, travel 1500 × 660 × 660 mm, with a 15″ chuck on the A-axis.

EDM

  • Travel XYZ-UV 550 × 370 × 310 mm. 5-axis cutting head, 60°.

03 / FABRICATION

Welded fabrication

Cut components welded and dressed in the workshop: frames, brackets, chute work, and assemblies built from our own profiled parts.

  • Fit-up from parts we nested, so mismatches are caught before welding starts.
  • Quoted from your drawing or a sample part. The work stays in the shop.

04 / DRAFTING

Drafting & remakes

No drawing? Bring the worn part or a sketch. We redraw it so we can remake the part in this workshop.

  • Drawings we create stay with us. We are not obliged to hand the file over.
  • We remake parts here. We do not provide engineering sign-off.
